R.E.D W.H.I.T.E G.R.E.E.N Y.E.L.L.O.W
R.E.D W.H.I.T.E G.R.E.E.N Y.E.L.L.O.W
R.E.D
Start at the roots
slowly, move your eyes to the top
move your eyes across the leaves
if you move slow enough
you may be able to see the leaves changing color
changing from from all shades of green to
all shades of R.E.D, yellow, and orange
W.H..I.T.E
Start at a window, look outside
expectant to see the features of R.E.D
instead, see flakes of W.H.I.T.E
walk outside, the temperature has dropped
notice your body become cold
trust your urge to get a blanket,
take your skis out of the cupboard
glide on top of the fluffy blanket that covers the ground
G.R.E.E.N
Start at your door
walk outside into a mud puddle
notice flowers of all different forms
glance at mountains that have no snow
observe the blossoms R.E.D and W.H.I.T.E
look at the new trees of G.R.E.E.N
smell the faint scent of rain
feel the drops on your skin
Y.E.L.L.O.W
Start at the sun rays
feel the burn on your tan skin
notice the heat radiating off your body from the rays
glance at the green grass
observe the tingle in your toes when the air hits them
notice the cycle is started over again
