God Knew Me more than Anybody
At fourteen
Dad bought matching phones
Blue-silver for Jenny
Orange-black for me
I wasn't happy
My wishful thinking was drained
Flashy phones was what I imagined
Not that old keypad controlled
Grumpy face was my thanks
Dad bought me a laptop
My soon to be best friend for college
An itouch for my sis
Samsung S4 for Jenny
I wasn't happy
Theirs were wants
Mine was a need
Unfair was what I could thought of
Uninterest became a friend
I pleaded to be a mechanical engineer
Dad helped me
During summer
I became a secret writer
The love for literature has been with me since
Never thought of it as a career
I prayed to God I'll be an engineering student
My future was laid on half-hearted pleas
God knew me more than anybody
At fourteen
I lost my phone
Before college
My laptop was stolen
This morning
Mom woke me and said
I wasn't accepted

We should always be thankful of what's given to us and take good care for it because I was really devastated to lose those valuables. But the last one, it made me smile.
God gives you everything at the right time and the right place. Everything has reasons.
Even that I lied in my prayers, He knows the truth. He always knows what lies deep in our hearts.
