Garden
A sin is a rose.
A beautiful thing
But thorns can pick away at the beauty within.
Each sin will bloom, a price to pay
A morning curse each break of day.
Blossoming, a simple flower
While my sins grow, with each hour.
A sin is a rose
Mine eat away at me
But my roses are strong and their roots are planted deep.
My soul aches
Thunder quakes
And soon the storm will bring my garden a whole new array.
A sin is a rose.
I have a beautiful bouquet.
