But don't you know I'd walk this Earth and bare my soul to make sure you'd be okay?
But I know the same could never be returned.
For I am the bridge you walk on, dragging your feet against my foundation.
You want to take the short way home and I let you because I was meant to be only that.
A passageway for what I knew you could become. Even if it meant breaking me.
