Moonlight bleeds
Into clouds sea green
Dreams of starships blow
Through my mind
Like the wind
Through my hair
Tossing and rolling
Into new shapes
New patterns of beauty
I tuck my hair behind my ear
And those stray thoughts too
But not before I catch
A swift streak across the moon
Piercing sea foam clouds
And pinning dreams of starships
Ever closer to my heart
