Depression is dull.
All the colors from it faded.
It is now just a black and white film.
It is that girl in the room who never pays attention to the lesson.

Depression is quiet.
Though she may creep on you.
She is the best actress though no one knows.
She plays the part of a girl,

a happy girl,
a brave girl.
She’s so good no one knows she’s
a time bomb
She only has one string holding her.
Sometimes she tricks herself that she’s happy.
Then reality slaps her across the face.
People ask her if she’s ok and she replies,
“I’m fine, thanks.”

But really when she sits home, she sits in
her bed,
angry at herself.
She will then move herself into the bathroom
She looks in the mirror,
stares into her reflection and asks it,
“What should I do now?”
