The Turning Hands
Hills behind, huge mountains ahead
Every moment, every pleasure
Dangling loosely by a thread
Unnoticed and silently, it swifts beside us,
Abducting breaths and opportunities
and rushes away, leaving just a trail of memories
Passing by us, eyes confused and daring.
Our kind arms will be empty soon,
And abjectly, we’ll realize,
To apologize, it's too late
To appreciate the pleasure
To Burry down the pain
Pause and breathe, think and turn
Let each tock tick
Time doesn’t exist,
Humans do.
