We are backwards
Never say what we mean, just what we don’t
And empty words, blabbering like bats beating their blackened wings
Movement- fast and constant- yet..
No meaning
No meaning
No meaning
Everything loses meaning if you look too hard
But the mistake is not trying to even look,
And words: friend, love, hate,
All pounding bells in my head, resonating with meaning...
That we don’t even mean
Backwards are we
We are backwards
