The notes rise
Out of beautiful chaos
And fingers tap the keys
Gliding through the air
Creating patterns
Of realization.
Intensity, bestial ferocity,
Masked in elegance.
Each note precedes the next
In a tangle of bitterness
In which each note
Sets a separate scene
Hat runs together,
Creating a story,
Evoking emotions once buried.
Each stanza weaving together
In an intricate cloth.
A curtain to hide the Beast.

This poem is about my favorite classical song, Nocturne in Eb Major, by my absolute favorite composer, Fredrik Chopin.
