Favorite Quote:
"What ever happened to Romance? Sappy, soppy, longhand love letters..."

As beautiful as they thought she was,
Never was she good enough.
Too much sadness,
Too much hurt;
Why did it all come on her?

As skinny as they thought she was,
Never was she good enough.
Too much arm fat,
Too much thigh fat;
Where was that perfect thigh gap?

As happy as they thought she was,
Never was she good enough.
Binge at dinner,
Cut at night;
Perfection was a long way off.

The author's comments:
What is perfection really? A lot of girls think that they can't be so beautiful or happy if they're "over weight" or just didn't have that thigh gap. So, in their attempts to be perfect, they cut, binge, anything to become perfect; they're willing to risk it all. This is my poem of a girl facing "perfection."
