My Shoutout to the Void

And I still to this day
Can not sleep in
My own bed at night
Because,
Your initials
Are carved into my desk that
Is sitting across from me
And,
All I do is stare at
Those few lines that I crossed out
Your initials with hastily in anger
And it may be just
A useless shoutout to the void
But,
I replay our last conversation
Till the moon is no longer
High in the night sky
Reminding me of you
