Prior to Turning Eighteen

Getting older? Yeah, I know.
Getting bolder? Don't think so.
So much coming at me,
And I don't feel ready!
How can I juggle
When I feel so unsteady?

The author's comments:
Growing up and finding direction can be so difficult. When I wrote this, I was unsure of what the future would hold. I still don't know for sure, but I'm trusting God to guide me. This poem expresses what my thoughts about growing up used to be.
