Window Shoping
There are all these little boys,
playing basketball in open court.
Then there’s you.
Only high schooler among them.
You are better than them,
to be expected of course.
Tall and agile.
Blonde hair swishing back and forth
begging to be cut.
Tank top that is cut on the sides,
to show of your lean muscles underneath,
and your tan arms.
Perfect player.
Dribble, shoot, showish.
run down the court
showish, dribble, shoot.
Hair waving, begging for attention.
I watch from above.
and you don't even realize
that i’m here.
that I’ll never know you.
It’s like watching from a one way window
You know theres someone on the other side,
but you’ll never know who.
