"A Child's Eyes". Rich Man's War
In a child's eyes, hope shines through
But it's time to tell them the bitter truth.
Trust gets you killed, love gets you hurt
Men will use you, abuse you, treat you like dirt.
Humanity is evil, no matter what they say
There was a chance of peace; they took it away
Corporation, business, money, hatred, greed,
They poison us all with the lies they feed.
In useless wars, we continue to fight
"Its the only way" they say
"This is what's right".
Down our throats, they force these sickening lies
Then turn a blind eye to our screams and cries.
Child, the odds are NEVER in our favor
In this world, you must be your own savior
With every bullet, we leave behind
A peace of hope...a piece of our minds.
