There's no I in "TEAM", though you can spell the word "ME", but I rather see the letters that consist of both you, and I <3

Now you see the real side of me,
I'm living a lie,
Slowly dying inside,
My life is full of sins,
My life is on snooze,
Even when I win I still seem to lose,
The more I lose,
The more pain I feel,
I keep acting as if I'm made of steal,
My mom sees a different side of me,
She believes I'm still good,
When I know I'm not acting as I should,
My step dad's an ex Marine,
An English major,
He believes in work and hard labor,
Yes he's old school,
But not a bad guy,
He loves my mom and he's very shy,
But I know he's a bit hard me because he knows I can do better,
Though sometimes I feel like I'm hiding behind stormy weather,
I'm not as good as they think I am,
I'm ashamed of who I've become these days,
I laughed and cried and I've prayed,
He hasn't answered me yet in my prayers,
But he hears me in these grey skies above me,
Deep inside I know god loves me,
I make bad choices,
Not so good ones at all,
But when I know I need help I count on god to catch me when I fall,
Now you see the real me,
Living a lie,
Still dying slowly inside.

My inspiration is too deep of a wound, that my family, and friends can never know, though i think they do. They see my glue and paste every time I put a smile on my face. They one day will figure me out, but for the time being they never know for now. I love them too much to hurt them but they'll be hurt when the seek my fake-ness :(

Beautifully written! I love the rhyme and how nicely it flows. It's very heartfelt and full of emotion. Very well done.
