The Time I Almost Threw Up
Cause we were just kids
And you were a twig.
The music took us away from the homes
Where we never really lived.
And I remember the yellow black school bus
And raising a big fuss
That Valentine's Day
When every chance I thought I'd had
Straight packed up,
Hopped a train,
And rode away.
I remember feeling it was all different
When everyone got way so distant.
I stood there asking "Now, what's the difference
In true passion, and lost commitments?"
But those little girls
Were all so menacing.
