What lies can do
The whole idea of it makes me feel like an erupting volcano,
not of anger but of sadness.
Tears will flow down my face like lava flows down a volcano
not knowing when it will stop.
I keep trying to tell someone,so they could help me
but no one seems to care.
In my head I go over all these questions like,
Isn't he suppose to love us?
I thought he cared?
Why isn't he putting us first?
How could he leave us and not talk to us for months?
Everyone thinks i'm okay,
they think I am the same happy person I have always been
but i'm truthfully not.
I'm too caught up in wanting it to end,
that I can't think straight.
No one can see it,
I hide behind happiness that isn't even real.
While she's still there hiding behind lies,
lies that tore a family apart,
lies that broke a girl.
