STATELESS
When the darkness of night,
Asks my even darker soul within,
Inquires about my past,
In exuberance it mentions,
Each moment in details,
With a wide glee on its face,
And an innocent smile in its heart.
A sudden shiver passes through,
When the moonlight that penetrates,
The shady clouds of grey,
Asks my irredeemable malice soul,
About its present deeds,
It makes a story of merry and laugh,
But within, it silently weeps.
Alone in grim when it sits,
Fearing another doubtless question,
Recalling its happy days and time,
Just then another query comes.
The image of moon so still ,
Asks from the lake so calm,
About its futural deeds,
But never any answer comes.
Because in deep deep thoughts,
My incurable soul drowns,
And I get up and walk,
Into the silence that surrounds.
