Don't Push Away the Anecdote to Your Pain
He looks at her through blurry eyes.
She's walking away to his surprise.
He doesn't know what he has done.
What did he do to make her run?
He took her in and helped the pain.
But now all she does is drive him insane.
He begs and pleads for her to see.
All he's ever given was his love unconditionally.
He blames himself for her moving on.
8 strong months, what could he have done wrong?
Now he weeps to me and I soothe the pain.
I see what she does drives him insane.
He thinks about her and dreams of her face.
"We'll be together," she said, "I just need my space."
But 3 months is long enough, don't keep him waiting.
He spends his days simply anticipating.
Anticipating what? I'll never know.
Anticipating your love? Probably so.
But you're giving it to someone else, aren't you girl?
How dare you when he's made you his world!
You lead him on and its plain to see.
That's why every night he comes crying to me.
