When the silence falls between us.
When awkward situations arise.
As the arguments come and go.
When the fighting gets bad.
You will still be my best friend.
When interests change;
And people move on.
As life gets busy;
And communication stops.
You will still be my best friend.
When high school ends.
People go their separate ways.
Children are born.
And the future begins.
You will still be my best friend.
Life will change.
People will change.
People will come.
People will go.
But through all that,
You will still be my best friend.

High school is a time when people change and friendships either flourish or fail. There are people who you will never forget, even though you guys have stopped speaking.
