Underappreciated

They put their body on the line
And take the shots thrown at them
But yet still have no glory.
They endure the bumps and bruises
And save the game for their team
But still go unseen.
Why are they overlooked
While they are so important
It’s because the scorers get all the attention
When we should be cheering equally for the other end.
