What if you would’ve stayed?
What if you wouldn’t have walked away?
You would still be with me.
Maybe you would be down on one knee?
With a box made of satin,
But that will never happen.
You decided to just get up and leave.
I used to wear my heart up on my sleeve,
But now there is no heart for me to wear.
You took it with you because you no longer care.
I try to forget you,
But I always feel so blue.
All I can think about is what if you would’ve stayed?
What if you wouldn’t have walked away?
