Beautiful Things
Beautiful things can’t be touched

Like you or I can be.

 We’re too dark and devious

 To repel anything tainted.

 Demons, we may.

 Demons be pride,

 Our demons be saved.

 Creative reflections

 Make us sing like angels,

 Dance like a tidal wave.

 Watery stars in the sky

Collaborate the people that soar with them.

And we sit here on the other side of the mirror,

 Sit and cry.

 Proper connections

Make me wonder about the things

That mark places too high to reach.

 What about you?

 You and your wonderful lack

 For curiosity.

Instead you run so fast you don’t have time for it.

Hold my hand in your due,

We’ll watch a sky or two.

 Be a friend maybe,

 Or try harder.

 I’ll jump across oceans

 To find you again.
