In Time
Akin to the tides, is time
We become swept up in the brief pleasure that is life
Only to be lost in its depths
We forget our impending doom
Ignorant of our own causing
Life is lived small pleasures at a time
Forgotten after its ceases
Lost in the pages of a history book
They are lucky
Lost in the dirt
Are the rest
In time, who shall be remembered?
