Crystal Stars
Pretty young girl with dark, sad eyes
Sitting home alone with no one to hold
Thinking about the source of her demise
Crossing her arms to escape the cold
Closing blue jewels into her dreams
Exploring it all, beneath the seams
Crystal stars light the dreamy place
As she lets the purity shine on her face
This place was a beautiful paradise
She wishes she could stay, it did more than suffice
“All the perfection bestowed upon me,
was unfortunately never meant to be”
Stars fade out, seams become undone
Surely she knew this marked the end of her fun
Waking up to a scene so bright
She looks forward to another night
