Most Beautiful Time Of The Year
The most beautiful time of the year…
 Snowflakes sliding across the sky…
Travelling through it, landing after a gentle flight…
Everyone’s inside, looking at the view so white
Pain gets light, we see God’s might…

But what about the rest of us?
the forgotten sons of this Earth?

 The world has two faces…
The face of those who can buy their smiles…
And the face of those praying for peace…
 Just…for a little while
Before their hearts slowly die like the snowflakes in the sky…
 That when softly touch Earth
Like a plague, they get overcome by dirt…
and the heavenly white turns dark…turns black
Like the cold death…of those who were born knowing nothing but love
 But when reality hits them
In an instant they grow from boys to men
I remember when I was one of them
When I didn’t understand any of the things happening around me…
When I was inside, staring at the view so white…
But the snow melted for me and I burned in fire…
We were told if in this world to breathe with ease is your desire…
 In the next…
It will be the most beautiful time…
 and not just for while…
 So I don’t have fear…I’m just tired.
