When I say that iloveyou,
I mean it.
When I say that I want to spend the rest of my life with you,
I’m being completely honest.
I don’t want to lose you like before.
I refuse to feel that pain again.
I refuse to revisit that hidden container
In the bottom drawer
In my bedside table
Because the sadness is
Just too much.
I can’t lose you
Because with a loss like this,
I may lose myself as well.
