Our Time
They say that as time passes
We all turn to ashes
That even bone turns to dust
Even the mightiest civilizations fall
But that time has yet to come
It is our duty to stand tall
We shall spit in the faces of those demons that weigh us down
The ones that attempt to knock us down
We shall smile, we shall frown
But we shall not, will not, give up
Life has dealt us quite a hand
Folding is something we will never do
We acknowledge that our cards may be bad
But that is no reason to become mad
Why be filled with rage and fury
If our time to go is far away
Why be in a hurry
If at the end there will always be glory
