Remember it wasn't always like this my boy,
The world turned tides and gave face to us all,
Braced my own,
See you are my blood thicker by strain,
Gold wasn't of value during my days,
It was this perfect love,
Father and son,
Tomorrow and God,
Brace this legacy my boy,
I see my dreams in yours,
This maddening gate of virtue and pain,
Only mortals can see the lovely in things,
See my boy it wasn't always this way,
We always remembered where we began.
