"I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity," (Edgar Allan Poe).

To our own perception, we are white valor atop courage as steed. Condescending - to others, we are Devil's groping talons in on blackened clouds of corruption and false pretenses. No heroes reside to reprimand ferocious clawed beasts that dress themselves in king's clothing. What we perceive is not war; tis tyranny overbound. And we, ourselves, are animated ornaments of conformity. We treat our bodies as canvases for that of which our desire paints. Though we are naive to the concept of an inequality for unity and happiness, our hearts are derived of the substance that craves us our dependence. We our crumbling, and thus are aching for a resemblance to one of a more unified nation. We pledge allegiance, because none is promised. We are flawed beyond repair.
