The Tears on Her Face
She who comes and goes like the wind
And asks who will save her from him
Who is rain and storms
Who is a rainbow and sunshine
Whose child is innocent,
is going back to with him.
She who takes her mother's charities
Who tells her father she loves him
Whose habits can't be broken
Let addiction swallow her
Before she asked for help
She who used to go to church
is too busy
is too tired
is trying to get help
Doesn't listen to her mother's plea.
She is the tears on her daughter's face
Who loved the man who hurt her
Is flowers and gifts and smoke and mirrors
Who says she'll stop only to do it again
Is the wind on the leaves and the echo of words,
Asking who will save her…
Who will save her from herself?
