I love the way you say my name,

To get my attention or gasped out in a moan.

The way you string together the syllables,

You make it sound like its own word.

Separate from everything else in the universe.

You make it your own,

You claim my name.

By softly speaking it through heavenly lips,

By moaning it through clenched teeth,

By making a warm home for me with your voice,

You make me yours.
