The Beach
January 21, 2014
Sunset over the settling waves.
The wavy softening sand,
past indifferent sea gulls.
Watching the setting sun,
holding hands,
walking down the beach,
reminiscing on old times.
Peacefully curled up together
letting the sand tickle between our toes,
feeling the gooeyness of it.
Taking that evening run on the beach,
flowing water, cool breeze
rocks protruding out of the sand.
Waves gently crash,
the sun is finally down.
An ending to a great day
and a beginning to an even better night
I finally figure out where i want to be,
the beach.
Its perfect.
