a letter

i want to make his day,
i want to send him a letter full of beautiful observations,
that scare him with their accuracy
and passion.
i want to make him wonder
who,
but also i want him to appreciate
it's anonymity.
i want to make him reconsider
all the lost months.
but i do not have his address,
or any means of getting this confession to him.
so my whirling thoughts,
and pounding heart,
and sweet dreams,
will have to suffice.
