Favorite Quote:
"I dwell in Possibility-" -Dickinson

Ball of orange twilight
chases the moon
retrograde - sideways,
but only kisses it invisible
while the sun drowns in ocean
to escape its return.

Addiction -
a crack of thunder before
lightning - pre-lit darkness
without bolt;
it is not always nocturnal.
Not forever four AMs
and flower stems
it is morning,
it is mourning,
it is the dawn's game of tag
while the moon bawls,
"Wait for me."

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem about how we live life as humans - cyclical, habitual, inveterately. We commit mistakes, falter between virtue and vice, just as the sun and moon encircle us.
