Bad Days
Remember that day when nothing went your way?
Forgot something important or said something you didn’t mean to say?
Or maybe you did nothing wrong but no one believes you’re telling the truth,
And you feel like the number one enemy, and everyone’s out to get you.
But let me ask you this: How did you handle it?
It’s hard to keep your head up with days like that,
Yet it’s days like those who truly define who you are.
Any average person can take a bad day and stay down with it,
But in reality the only thing they’re doing is making they’re bad day worse.
You feel like shutting down when nothing is going your way
But it’s only the strongest people who can face it and say,
“I’ve faced hardship before, I can easily get through this,
Because every day is a gift, something I don’t want to miss.”
