The Beginning of an End
She picked herself up off the ground,
The emotional storm had passed,
After whisking away those she had deemed most important.
She Saw their faces, no remorse or regret painted upon them,
It was then that she realized how blinded she had been.
She had only seen what she wanted them to be,
She had been the one who had painted their face with emotions of love and care.
She had been lying to herself about the kind of people that surrounded her,
Now she considers a friend a foe,
And she wonders where it all went wrong.
What is she to do now?
Well it has been said before that ‘ you must find yourself, before you can find others’
And so, her journey begins.
