Don't cry me a river,
For I've already gone.
Your blessings have no meaning
In this life I've seem.
It's just for me,
My own little world.
I'm not to be troubled
By your high-strung words.

The lapses are growing.
I dare to tell?
It's like they're towing
My thoughts far away, to hell.
I won't stop them,
No not I.
I kind of like the way they condemn
My mind to lie.
