A sad little smile
A lonely girl
With vacant stares
Screaming inside
But no one cares
She wakes up
Then does her hair
She doesn't have breakfast
She just doesn't care.
Then puts on her make up
She doesn't like her face
Puts on a smile
Still out of place.
Her pain goes untouched
No one can tell
She smiles like an angel
But she's living through hell.
Inside she's dying
She's unbearably insecure
Slashes at her wrist
The pain helps her reassure.
Her eyes burn with madness
She cuts her own wrist
Her sad little smile
Fades and grow thin.
Scares on her body
Scares on her soul
This hateful world
Has finally taken its toll.
