"Christmas is my favorite time of the year"
said Ilene with a voice full of cheer.
"Theres gonna be misiletoes,
shelf elves,
and so many more,
and candy canes and cookies galoore!"
"And Santa's gonna come by in his sleigh,
and give presents to all,
in his own kind of way!"
"I'm gonna go get my decore,
so Santa can see that we love Christmas more,
than any other holiday,
and probably give us more presents
that day!"
I didn't have the heart to tell Ilene,
that it was only the day after Halloween.
