Disappointment
Your tears spilled
Like ink running against the whitest of paper
Your heart was so black that I mistook it for onyx
And your eyes were so hard I believed they were mere stones
I assumed that you were lost by the way you stared at the dripping sun
The sky transformed into an array of colors
You saw them, even with your eyes closed
And you hated every ounce of it
