The glorious stained glass windows envelop me with their beauty,
Gothic arches and towers stretched up to the heavens above loom overhead
Worshipers and their prayers fill the entire place, engulfing me in a holy presence.

Beams of radiant lights scattered throughout the sky rain down upon the cathedral
Shimmering lights pour in through the astonishing stained glass, tented with heavenly colors


given by the glass
Glistening rays abound from the heavens above.

Strolling down the aisles, my friends ooh and ah, awestruck by the wondrous beauty of the place
Floating about the room, the prayers of lost souls can be heard echoing all around you.

When people enter this place, do they stand in awe, speechless over the breath taking beauty? How many people have been lead to salvation within these walls?

The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist leaves me searching for words, as the place exerts a


feeling of holiness throughout it.
