Dear Sister
Dear Sister
Dear sister,
I know you’re up there somewhere deep in the clouds
looking down on me here, on the ground.
I want to say “I love you my sister”
but my mouth goes numb and silent.
I want to see you here and in person,
but I know that I will have to visit you if I want you to come through.
So maybe one day it will be that way,
me and you together
But until then sister, I can only say to you,
“I love you Heather.”
