I feel it consuming me,
like a virus,
Resent for someone I know so well -
myself.
I look into my future with glazed over eyes -
in a stagnant haze -
envisioning a tomorrow today will never bring.
I can't put my mind at ease;
the daydreaming continues,
in it's tragic cycle.
I don't see my surroundings
nor live in the present.
I'm trapped in the future
