Right Through Me
She looks in the mirror.
but, sees nothing.
She has a heart of gold
yet, feels worthless.
waiting for someone to tell her
don't go
I'll miss you.
Screaming,begging,calling out
A final,frantic,desperate shout.
They torture her with words unsaid,
not knowing what's going on in her head.
And now that heart of gold is hanging on a
thread.
Too late
she has already choosen her fate.
They'll think she was crazy
wanting to end her life.
But it wasn't a rope, blade, or pills that broke her soul.
It died inside so long before.
To live each day an endless chore,
but pills could not kill what's already dead.
"Dear Mom and Dad,
you have gave me your support, but sadly, that wasn't enough. I waited and waited for someone to see the misery in my eyes. Untill I realized, people don't look at me deep enough to notice. They see through me or don't care enough to try. I'm done struggling. well, im just done.
Goodbye. I love you."
She was too young
way
too young.
but, in life. Age is just a number.
and feelings
They mean nothing.
