"What you do makes a difference, and it's up to you to decide what kind of difference you're going to make" - Jane Goodall

I run
thinking
my feet beating
on the ground

the wind
is piercing
the tears
stream
down

shortness of breath
breathe
deeply
I run on

The author's comments:
The inspiration for this poem comes from the fact that running has become something that helps me cope with life.
When reading this poem hopefully others can apply it to problems in their life. The overall message being that the only option is to keep going, and you can deal with that in a healthy way or not.

I really liked how your poem flowed. It was smooth and elequent and wasn't choppy at all.

The Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time!

Love the Poem, I run allot as well and it really does help me deal with stress. The poem was well done and I could tell you spent time contemplating and chosing each word. Please rate my work!
