Looking into utter darkness

The spark that lights when all hope is lost

Staring out into that empty void that engulfed my mind and heart
That higher mightier forgiving power
Gave me that spark of hope
My ray of iridescent light
One who would take care of me in ways he could not
Filling that empty dark void
Making a sad pathetic excuse of a human being feel something again
I'm not numb to the darkness anymore
With the blessing of love you gave me now I can stare into the dark with my mind soul and body resting in peace
I look and become content with who I am, once was,and stare one more time with a smile on my face as I fall asleep filled with a newfound emotion that makes me feel the warmth of light and that spark of hope that makes us human
