An Ocean as Deep as Love
When I’m with you I feel alive.
Caressing my heart, your fingers wrapped around mine,
Into the ocean we dive.
Empty and black, an endless beauty, cold and dreary.
Looking up at the sky, through the water, big and blue.
Sand so small and grainy,
Then I lose you.
I’m going insane.
I see you lying at the bottom.
So still, and beautifully plain.
The last thing I heard was you screaming my name.
Then I die too, my heart inside your hand.
