War By: Taylor Pyles
I am red, I am white, and I am blue,
I am the person who stands for our country.
I am a soldier.
Take a look at what I do,
I fight for our country; I fight for me and you.
I may seem tough and never show it,
But I’m so scared because it’s so dark.
These war’s we fight they are so cold,
There are some story’s that should stay untold.
I crawl through the bullets filling the air,
This may seem so unfair,
But I love what I do; I stand for me and you,
The sun will rise and so will I.
Standing as one me and you,
Holding on to what is true,
we all are one as red, white, and blue
