There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed. - Ernest Hemingway

Oh that coffee...
That sweet, sweet coffee...
Just smell that smell of delicious toffee...

I can't go without it,
no doubt about it
Just gotta get one tiny bit!

C'mon coffee pot,
give it all you got!
I want that coffee nice and hot!

Now that I'm awake,
let's give that pot a break
Maybe next time I'll make it to drink with some cake!

The author's comments:
This piece was written by my sister (with a little input from myself) during a trip to Tennessee when I was in 8th grade and she was in 5th. It is one of the two poetry pieces from the trip that I posted here, and is a parody of our coffee-addict mother (don't worry, it's nothing serious), and just plain crazy from my sister. Anything she writes comes from her craziness...

Haha what a cute little poem! I liked the rhymes and childish air of it all.
